One-of-a-kind Wool Felt Designs
Currently my favorite medium is wool felt. It can be colorful & so versatile. It is incredibly strong & durable yet also lightweight. It is a natural product but unlike leather no animals are killed in harvesting it. Wool Felt can be washed and does not retain much moisture so it dries quickly. My recycled products reuse wool so it is even better for the world and environment.
You can't get more "designer" than my bags. No two are exactly alike. Each one is hand made. Some I knit and "full", which is a term for felting or shrinking the item. Some I sew from recycled or "upcycled" wool which I also full. Sometimes I dye it to get the colors I want. I also make other accessories and I embellish my pieces with beads, buttons, embroidery, applique and needle felting. I use what ever technique that will give it the look and affect I am striving for.

I chose GlennaEclectic as a name because, as an artist, I have and will continue to work with many mediums, in my lifetime. It doesn't get me anywhere to keep changing my business name to fit my medium. ie..Nostalgic Impressions, Watercolors by Glenna Owen, The Farmer's Daughters Country Fare, Pine Designs etc.. Can't get famous that way!
